Neurointerventions

Neurointerventions

We cover the entire neuroendovascular procedure spectrum: from emergency thrombectomy in acute ischemic stroke to aneurysm embolization and treatment of intracranial and supra-aortic stenoses. The focus is on safe guidance, precise delivery and predictable outcomes with stable deliveries of priority dimensions and neat documentation.

Typical procedures and indications

Mechanical thrombectomy:
rapid removal of the thrombus using a stent retriever and/or aspiration to restore blood flow.

Embolization of aneurysms:
application of flow diverters and spirals along with microcatheters for stable reconstruction of the affected segment.

AVM and AVF treatments:
selective embolization of malformations with precise guidance and controlled delivery of the embolization agent.

PTA of intracranial and supra-aortic segments:
targeted dilation of stenosis with fine pressure control and stable results.

Distal navigation and branch selection:
microcatheters and guidewires for passage through deep and tortuous anatomical pathways.

Key product lines

Stent retrievers

They are designed for reliable thrombus capture and removal with minimal distal embolization and high reperfusion rates. Uniform radial force and precise release control allow for work in a variety of anatomies.

Aspiration catheters

Large lumen, low profile catheters create an effective vacuum for direct aspiration of thrombus without additional trauma to the wall. Flexible distal zone and good radiopacity facilitate passage and positioning in the distal circulation.

Flow diverters

Metal mesh structures redirect flow away from the aneurysm neck and promote endothelialization for permanent closure. Precise guidance and controlled opening reduce the risk of migration and improve long-term outcome.

Intracranial PTA balloons

Low-profile balloons enable targeted dilation of stenoses in the intracranial and supra-aortic segments with fine pressure control. Stable markers and predictable expansion help ensure safe treatment and optimize flow.

Microcatheters and guidewires

The combinations provide torsional control and flexibility for selective catheterization and delivery of implantable devices. High radiopacity and smooth coatings facilitate navigation through tortuous and distally located lesions.

Accompanying consumables and accessories

Hemostatic valves, introducers and syringes ensure a stable flow of the procedure and an orderly traceability of each step. Standardized configurations shorten team preparation and facilitate the execution of reproducible protocols.
